Our Director, Digital Marketing defines the strategic roadmap for all digital channels, including: web, social, email, and emerging platforms.
You are an experienced digital leader who understands the highly-competitive, constantly-evolving digital landscape. You possess strong project management skills, and collaborate effectively with others across the organization including: product managers, brand marketing, IT, engineering and sales.
The role:
Provide digital strategy to support product development based on customer segmentation and product strategies. Work alongside senior management and key stakeholders to define the vision, scope, and requirements for digital campaigns to create functional and strategic alignment across digital channels
Keep abreast of the latest web/mobile, search marketing, display and paid social industry information, trends and opportunities. Monitor competitive trends, evaluate relative product positioning, benchmark relative to key competitors, and target areas for differentiation
Effectively works side-by-side with marketing, IT, agencies and other cross-functional partners to develop and deploy digital marketing strategies that support brand objectives, while engaging consumers
Responsible for the Digital Department’s budget including website development and maintenance, outreach and promotion, personnel and operations
Oversee the creation of powerful, relevant, brand-aligned digital content to forge and deepen customer activation, product sales, and brand equity
Monitor and analyze customer, market and competitive information to improve the effectiveness of digital marketing activities to optimize lead generation and conversion
The background that will be successful looks like this:
BS or BA in Marketing, or related field; MBA
5 years of consumer marketing experience at a digital brand, broadcast/cable network, creative/digital agency or client side market
3 years management experience leading and managing team activities, including managing performance
E-commerce experience a major plus
Experience with relevant platforms such as Google Analytics, CMS, email marketing and social tools/platforms
Knowledge and experience supporting a wide range of digital marketing tactics, including: web, SEO/SEM, social media, and email
Strong analytical skills and be metric driven with experience in developing digital marketing strategies
Proven record of managing and executing marketing programs that drive customer acquisition and retention
Ability for some travel
This experience might put you over the top:
Prior experience supporting Consumer Products
Solid understanding of web technologies (including HTML, CSS), CMS, web analytics (including Google Analytics, Hootsuite), marketing, and CRM
Prior experience working for a major entertainment brand
