Role and Responsibilities
Provides a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.
Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information and merchandise promotions,
Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store counter housekeeping.
Maintain a neat and orderly store counter and back stock at all times and follow proper procedures for attire and presentation of jewelry. Must be in compliance with department store policies and procedures. Work with management in aligning the procedures between Corporate and the department stores.
Assist in replenishing merchandise both assets and consignment merchandise; ensure proper display of stock
Coordinate shipping and receiving of merchandise between Corporate and department store location.
Assist Department store sales associate in the full cycle of clientling, selling, pricing and customer service of the product.
Adhere to all Company and department stores policies, procedures and practices.
Communicate customer issues and conflict resolution suggestions to corporate management
Communicate with corporate office, which includes at least once a week visits for merchandise and meetings with the VP.
Prepare sales and inventory reports as instructed by management.
Provide feedback to VP regarding retails competitors pricing, merchandising, sales trends and etc.
Build relationships with department store personal shoppers, brand ambassador, sales associates and store management.
Follows up customer sales as appropriate.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Essential Physical Requirements:
Lift, carry and pull merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work varied scheduled, including weekends and holidays
Frequent bending, standing and walk; Ability to stand for longer than 8 hours at a time
Frequent walking; Travel between corporate office and point of sale store
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma required. Bachelor preferred
3-4 years of retail sales experience
Oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well with little guidance and in tight time frames
