Digital Media Assistant

Role Mission

 

The Digital Media Assistant will help manage the necessary deliverables to plan, execute, launch, analyze, optimize and reconcile the digital media programs which build exposure and drive significant business to our stores and Gucci.com. The role will support the Digital Media Manager and team to manage all aspects of paid digital media activities, inclusive of display media, social media, performance media and native advertising.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

Planning

  • Helps manage the necessary deliverables to plan, execute, launch, analyze and optimize the eMedia programs which build exposure and drive significant business to our stores and Gucci.com;
  • Field all incoming digital vendor inquiries, via phone and email, and compile a prospective digital partners grid for senior digital execs to evaluate;
  • File and store incoming media kits and proposals;
  • Build a master traffic summary with all updated figures for our current and potential digital partners;
  • Keep all contact lists for vendors up to date in Apple VCards and Microsoft Outlook;
  • Ensure all relevant team members have the latest printed copies of the master media flowcharts and budget documents;
  • Record all key campaign dates in Google Analytics Annotations;
  • Source and manage all product sample requests for digital native programs;
  • Work with the retail teams to ensure all Gucci places listings are up to date in Yelp and Yext;
  • Do biweekly digital influencer research cross platform and present to the digital team;
  • Collect reporting from all agencies and vendors in a timely manner to compile our weekly, monthly (SOTU) and ad hoc campaign analyses;
  • Keep the corporate spending totals regularly updated with digital figures.

Creative

  • Work with eCommerce to compile URL grids for all banner advertising, digital native and product feed marketing programs;
  • Collect screenshots for all live digital campaigns and compile a seasonal resource deck with visuals of all placements;
  • Keep all Gucci places digital listings up to date with current imagery, requesting from Corporate Image Department when needed.

Billing

  • Gatekeeper for all digital invoices, contracts and POs, scanning and filing all final copies and requesting copies when needed;
  • Regularly check the billing aging report in Filemaker to ensure all 'approved' invoices have been submitted for payment to meet vendor deadlines.

General

  • Manage the 'digital adapters' box and distribute these when needed for meetings;
  • Work with the print team to compile and maintain vendor lists during holiday time;
  • Schedule all internal and external meetings for Digital Media Manager and Digital Media Director.

 

Key Requirements

  • College Degree;
  • 1 years’ experience in digital media through either jobs, internships or unique life experiences’;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
