The Retail Strategic Business Manager will serve in a cross-functional role, bringing to the planning and strategy function a deeper knowledge and understanding of retail, consumer management and market specifics. This individual will develop an innovative approach to reporting and analysis, from which enhanced strategic actions can be taken. While this role will formally be a part of the Strategy & Business Planning team, he/she will collaborate very closely with Retail function leaders, particularly the VP of Retail, Director of Retail Performance, and Director of Consumer Management.
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for coordinating the sales forecasting by store, bi-annually for the FCT1/Budget processes, as well as monthly updates for local management, in collaboration with the VP of Retail and the District Managers
Own the quarterly commercial sales target review process with District Managers
Lead development of retail strategy and action plans – in close collaboration with the corporate retail team
Serve as liaison between Finance and Retail teams on all matters concerning strategy development, planning (inclusive of FCT1/Budget) and reporting
Follow up on the implementation of select projects related to Retail Excellence
Support KPI analytics, action planning and targeting processes
Play a key role in the development of the Brand Distribution Strategy
Support VP of Retail, Director of Retail Performance and District Managers in ad-hoc analysis and projects as needed
Launch new surveys/studies in close collaboration with VP of Retail
Maintain constant knowledge of Store Projects and real estate changes
Desired Education & Experience
A BA in Business, Finance, Economics or otherwise with a strong quantitative focus
MBA or Post-Graduate education in quantitative fields would be ideal
Minimum 5 years of experience in an analytical, strategic role, with minimum 2 years at a top-tier, ideally global, organization

Strong quantitative and modeling skills coupled with the ability to analyze wide, complex arrays of data
Experience with MicroStrategy a plus, but not required
Experience with a formal planning application (JDA, SAS, RPAS, etc) is plus but is not required
