Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support our client's leadership team based in midtown Manhattan.
SUMMARY
The position provides primary support to the senior level directors of a major financial services firm to assist in developing and implementing major strategic initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter possessing strong analytical skills, business acumen and strong communication and leadership skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist in developing and communicating business strategy
- Develop financial proformas and strategic rationale for business and operational activities
- Conduct quantitative analysis and research to provide support for business initiatives
- Assist in landlord, vendor and third party relationship management (track performance, develop reports)
- Participate in and contribute to business leadership meetings
- Facilitate coordination of routine business activities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (local and regional business line representatives)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABBILITIES
- Strong quantitative, analytical and broad problem solving skills
- Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data into strategic deliverables
- Ability to analyze data in order to proactively identify trends
- High degree of business maturity and confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an analyst or associate
- Target candidate has 5 - 10 years of relevant business experience.
