Perform month-end and year-end closeout status reports
Maintains closeout tracker and coordinates updating of the file for all projects in closeout status.
Prepares financial reconciliation packages for all projects submitted to Finance for closeout
Perform reconciliation project’s budget, commitments and invoices using the different OVP/OVF reports
Prepare and properly document journal entries.
Reviews closeout packages submitted by Operations team and provides direction to the team on addressing any address closeout-related issues
Provides inputs on any process improvement initiatives related to project closeouts
Lead closeout functions and initiatives by the team and provide closeout training.
Provides emergency coverage for fund management , cash disbursement and other cash management-related functions of the department
Responds to audit inquiries by internal team members, clients, etc.
Provides assistance to other functions within the department
Special projects and other functions as required by manager or client.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 0 – 2 years of Accounting experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Detail-oriented, ability to adopt to a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Intermediate/Advance Excel knowledge a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
