Sr. Project Manager

SUMMARY 

The position will manage multiple projects for Kering IT Americas.
 
This position will use in-depth project management skills and operational knowledge to achieve expected business results and success in delivering projects on time, budget and quality
 
The project manager will have deep experience supporting international IT projects as well as regional projects. Ability to influence business and technology stakeholders and project team members in order to get buy-in on decisions that will lead to the success of projects.
 
Build strong relationships with project stakeholders and Kering IT teams. Foster good project management practices ensuring alignment with global project management methodology and providing opportune visibility on project status and challenges.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage IT projects from initiation to closure, in a multi-brand and shared services approach, ensuring on time, budget and quality delivery
  • Plan and monitor the projects in terms of definition of the project plan (deliverables, deadlines, etc) and in economic terms (planning and spending control)
  • Organize and conduct project meetings providing timely project status and ensuring team alignment, manage overall project communication
  • Provide day-to-day project leadership and decision making on critical project issues as they pertain to project scope, cost, schedule, budget, methodology, risk, and resources
  • Is the escalation point for specific project challenges and opportunities. Resolve conflicts within the project and across dependent projects between resources, schedules, budgets, priorities, etc
  • Strong interaction with central team to support global projects, delivering on-time and on-budget. Ensure alignment with global project governance
  • Use the Kering tools, including PPM tool, for project reporting, LOE and financials monitoring
  • Propose process improvements related to PMO activity
 
 
  • 8 years as IT project manager
  • 5 year experience project managing solutions in two or more of the following areas: POS, logistics/supply chain, CRM, Finance, IT infrastructures
  • Excellent understanding on industry frameworks such as SDLC and PMP
  • Must have deep experience managing complex and end-to-end projects in an international environment, preferably in the Americas
  • Experience working with distributed (virtual) international teams
  • Business process experience (i.e retail, eCommerce, financials, etc) desired
  • Good understanding of systems integration
  • Excellent listening, critical thinking, written and communication skills
  • Rigorous, autonomous, organized, committed, transparent
  • Consultative skills such as workshop facilitation
  • Team- and customer-oriented attitude and working style
