Position Summary:
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Communications Intern to join the JLL | JPMC Account team. The position will split time between New York, NY and Brooklyn, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to learn and gain career experience in marketing or communications.
Responsibilities
- Able to work in a professional environment
- Able to interact with all levels of an organization including clients, senior executives, junior level associates, specialized engineers and more
- Able to interview a wide variety of team members on a variety of subjects
- Able to work in a decentralized organization
- Responsible for drafting both JLL employee communications and client facing communications
- Able to help coordinate summer volunteer programs in New York and other regions
- Responsible for capturing informal videos and photos using common iPhone and simple editing software
- Special projects as requested
Qualifications:
- Successful candidates will be working towards a Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or other line of studies
- Minimum of 0-2 years of communication experience; real estate a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated consistency in values, principles and work ethic
- Strong attention to detail and knowledge of Microsoft Word, iMovie or FinalCut Pro a plus
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to excel in a fast paced, customer service oriented environment
- Must be a mature, independent worker able to work both face to face and over the phone with a global organization
