The Corporate Strategy team for AT&T Advertising & Analytics is responsible for developing the overall go-to-market strategy for AT&T; Advertising and Analytics, including existing businesses and emerging businesses as well as driving strategy as it relates to adoption of emerging technologies and ad innovations. The Associate Director, Emerging Tech Innovation, will ensure AT&T Advertising & Analytics is at the forefront of innovation. The position will be in our New York City location.
Successful candidates are fluent in the latest technology trends, e.g., Blockchain, AR/VR, AI, etc., impacting the Advertising industry as well as the latest advertising innovations in terms of products and formats. The ideal candidate should have significant experience with the latest changes in the Media and Advertising landscapes. This candidate will also have a proven track record in data-rich analyses, specifically with digital video, tv, and advanced advertising technologies. He or she will have hands on experience with executive presentation development, coordination across various functional teams, ability to interface with both strategic and technical partners and demonstrate passion for the evolving Advertising landscape. The successful candidate will excel in the following:
• BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Strategy, Statistics, Communications or related discipline, MBA preferred
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Prior work experience within Innovation at a Media or Technology company, Management Consulting experience or Corporate Strategy experience
• Experience working across the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors and specific experience in the Advertising space
• Expertise in research, analyses and executive presentations
• Skill in making the technical and confusing a digestible narrative for all types of audiences
• A tolerance for ambiguity and flexibility to changing projects and priorities
• Ability to formulate the big picture while working on project details
